Alto Ega
A circular cycle tour along the Ignatian Way, passing through Lapoblación, Marañón, Genevilla, beech forests and the Sota reservoir.
We begin this circular route, designed for mountain biking, in the village of Cabredo. First, we take the G2-21, the Ignaciano trail, which leads us up a steep climb to Lapoblación.
From here, we take the path that circles the hill of Lapoblación Castle, entering its magnificent beech forest and descending until we reach Marañón. From this village, we take the tracks heading east and arrive at the Sota reservoir, where we can enjoy the various birds that live there or are just passing through. We then continue along farm tracks until we reach Genevilla and rejoin the Ignaciano path to finish back in Cabredo.
