The Great Romanesque Route (South)

The southern section of the Great Romanesque Route is a circular route designed to be followed using GPS (it is not signposted) and completed in stages, by mountain bike or gravel bike. The route starts and ends in Estella / Lizarra.
This itinerary immerses visitors in the region’s medieval heritage, covering
almost the entire southern perimeter of the Tierra Estella district. The route highlights the stylistic transition between the Romanesque and Gothic periods, showcasing the artistic and cultural splendour of medieval Navarre. This route connects a total of 14 points of architectural interest, including religious and military buildings.
